Enter the start and end of your break in the FDP calculator. The app accounts for the pre- and post-flight duty buffers in your settings, checks the qualifying break length, and calculates the duty extension. Always check your setup against the rules that apply to your operation.
02Can I customize the reference table?
Yes. Open Settings to edit the FDP reference table and pre- and post-flight duty buffers. Match these to your operating procedures and regulatory requirements. You can reset the table to the app's defaults whenever you need to.
03Do I need an internet connection?
Once installed, the mobile app works offline. Your calculations and settings are stored on your device. You don't need to create an account.
04Where does the default FDP table come from?
The app includes a default reference table as a starting point. Verify and customize it against your regulatory authority's requirements and your company policies before using it for operational planning.

The mobile app keeps things simple. Your calculations and settings live on your device. This policy also explains the separate analytics used by our website.
Personal information in the app
Simple FTL Calculator does not require an account or collect, store on our servers, or transmit personally identifiable information from the mobile app. You do not need to provide a name, email address, or location to use it.
Local storage
Report times, sector counts, preferences, and custom FDP table values are stored locally on your device for app functionality and persistence. The mobile app does not sync these calculations or settings to a cloud service.
Third-party services in the app
The mobile app does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking services. This is separate from our marketing website, described below.
Analytics on this website
This website uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate visits and improve the site. It does not use third-party analytics cookies. Website analytics are separate from the mobile app and do not access your app calculations or settings. See Vercel’s analytics privacy documentation for the information the service processes.
